The PyCon Austria 2026 team is pleased to announce that the first talk topics are online:
https://2026.pycon.at/talks-and-workshops
Not all accepted speakers have confirmed their talks and workshops, so the list is not final yet and some last-minute changes will happen for sure until (and during) the conference.
Last chance
While the official call for papers for PyCon Austria 2026 is already closed, there are still some options left to submit a speech at PyCon Austria 2026:
- Submit a lightning talk (5 minutes maximum duration): This can be done directly at the conference using pen and paper, no registration necessary.
- Join birds of a feather (planned): As there will be plenty of rooms at the PyCon Austria 2026 conference, visitors are encouraged to write topics they want to talk about / hear about on a poster directly at the conference so that - if there is enough demand - some spontanious talks/discussions can happen.
- Submit your proposal for Linuxwochen Eisenstadt: If your topic is not too Python specific but also interesting for a wider audience, you can still submit your talk idea to
eisenstadt@linuxwochen.at.
Important: Submitted talks for Linuxwochen Eisenstadt can be hold in German or English language but must happen on Sunday, 19th April 2026.
